The Barcelona houses a state of the art ratchet mechanism that allows the frame to easily glide into the four positions that the pictures show, headrest, sitting, reclining and bed. The steel frame has a beech sprung slatted deck that flexes and this allows even weight distribution to ensure comfortable relaxing positions when using any of the four positions. We’ve developed a unique upholstered futon mattress for the Barcelona which is filled with Superflex Foam and our rebound polyester, this combination ensures comfort and durability.
