The Barcelona houses a state of the art ratchet mechanism that allows the frame to easily glide into the four positions that the pictures show, headrest, sitting, reclining and bed. The steel frame has a beech sprung slatted deck that flexes and this allows even weight distribution to ensure comfortable relaxing positions when using any of the four positions. We’ve developed a unique upholstered futon mattress for the Barcelona which is filled with Superflex Foam and our rebound polyester, this combination ensures comfort and durability. Reading, Playing Games, Watching Movies or Relaxing ……. Experiencing any of these activities on the Barcelona is a pleasure and as you can see from the images the frame is wide enough for two adults.
