2 seater wooden futon sofabed
The Kiwi is a traditional style "A" frame futon sofabed. This 2 seater timber futon frame is made from top quality Radiata pinewood from New Zealand, this means less knots and more strength. The slats are supported by thick stretchers underneath so they will not break. A unique feature of the Kiwi is its "feet" that allows the frame to go completely flat when used as a slatted bed frame but raised off the ground. We also conceal all the screws so there's no danger of snagging the fabric used for the casing of the futon mattress or a removable Top Cover if you have one. Available in a variety of sizes 76cms, 90cms, 120cms, 140cms & 153cms wide but all 191cms in length. If you are interested in this futon frame please have a look at the other images above.
                                                                            
The "Regular" futon mattress is a thick 6 layer, handmade and manufactured here in the UK combining comfort and durability. The filling is a combination of lambswool, bonded woolfelt and rebound polyester and this filling has been chosen so it won't collapse or get compacted and is upholstered with "daisy tufts" to give the traditional futon look.

Textiles/Top Cover: As part of the price you can choose a fixed mattress cover from our variety of plain fabrics: cotton drills or for a little extra the funky cotton chenille & faux suede range.
However, we recommend you consider a washable removable top cover as it will protect your futon mattress from spills, kids and pets, please check out this top covers link.

Very simple, home assembly takes about 40-50 mins.

Just wanted to say thanks, got the great service and great products. I have already had positive reviews of the futon (Kiwi 5'0"/153cms) as both a bed and a sofa. The only problem was choosing just one colour from such a good selection: the swatches really helped.
