The Classic is a quality pine base combined with a chunky 6 layer futon mattress, prices start from only £149.00 for the single size. The Classic is a sturdy traditional 'A' frame futon sofabed. It has wide slats, small gaps between the slats and two wide stretchers that support the slats from underneath. This frame is manufactured in quality FSC certified Pine which ensures the frame has strength and durability. If interested in the frame please click on the other images above. The "Regular" futon mattress is a thick 6 layer, handmade and manufactured here in the UK combining comfort and durability. The filling is a combination of cotton, bonded woolfelt and rebound polyester and this filling has been chosen so it won't collapse or get compacted and is upholstered with "daisy tufts" to give the traditional futon look. Textiles/Top Cover: As part of the price you can choose a fixed mattress cover from our variety of plain fabrics: cotton drills or for a little extra the funky cotton chenille & faux suede range. However, we recommend you consider a washable removable top cover as it will protect your futon mattress from spills, kids and pets, please check out this top covers link.
