The Miami 2 seater futon frame has a traditional look with a flat arm style but a significant difference with this hardwood frame is that it is made from top quality sustainably grown Malaysian hardwood rather than Pine or other softwood. We asked our supplier NOT to use any finger jointing in areas of stress so we can be confident that the hardwood frame is extremely robust. We are the sole importer of this easy to use futon sofabed. Conversion from sofa to bed is from the front, just pull and it glides out and will lock in place, and the converse (from bed to sofa) will be just as easy. The Miami has an easy on the eye light natural finish.   The "Regular" futon mattress is a thick 6 layer, handmade and manufactured here in the UK combining comfort and durability. The filling is a combination of lambswool, bonded woolfelt and rebound polyester and this filling has been chosen so it won't collapse or get compacted and is upholstered with "daisy tufts" to give the traditional futon look. Textiles/Top Cover: As part of the price you can choose a fixed mattress cover from our variety of plain fabrics: cotton drills or for a little extra the funky cotton chenille & faux suede range.   However, we recommend you consider a washable removable top cover as it will protect your futon mattress from spills, kids and pets, please check out this top covers link.
