The Tioman is a 2 seater wooden sofabed with a lounging position. This stylish frame is manufactured in Malaysian hardwoods, has the easy action of a metal clic-clac mechanism providing effortless conversion from sitting or reclining positions to a double bed. The sitting / sleeping platform features a Beech sprung-slat system providing a comfortable, supportive sofa and bed. The Tioman also benefits from a comfortable reclining position, brilliant for relaxing and watching movies. The "Regular" futon mattress is a thick 6 layer, handmade and manufactured here in the UK combining comfort and durability. The filling is a combination of cotton, bonded woolfelt and rebound polyester and this filling has been chosen so it won't collapse or get compacted and is upholstered with "daisy tufts" to give the traditional futon look. Textiles/Top Cover: As part of the price you can choose a fixed mattress cover from our variety of plain fabrics: cotton drills or for a little extra the funky faux suede range.   However, we recommend you consider a washable removable top cover as it will protect your futon mattress from spills, kids and pets, please check out this top covers link.
